A contemporary photography exhibition at St Pancras.
CLIENT: James Stroud / St Pancras International
These contemporary portraits, the first solo exhibition by photographer James Stroud and the first to be held at St.Pancras International, encouraged the viewer to question the judgements they make on first impressions. The exhibition, which comprised 30 beautiful images, challenged, and at times shocked the viewer, but each image captures and communicates human qualities and emotions. The images compel - and permit - the viewer to stop and stare, providing him or her with a rare window into the world of subculture. The exhibition was accessible, modern and challenged conventions, much like the station itself.
St.Pancras International have auctioned off all of the prints available to view in the station at the end of the exhibition. All proceeds from the auction went to St.Pancras International's chosen charity Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital.
