Construction sites with a difference

CLIENT: Cala Homes

There are hundreds of building sites around the UK that are protected and surrounded by plywood hoarding. This hoarding is normally either untreated or painted a plain colour. On the rare occasion that the hoarding is used for advertising it is through using self adhesive vinyl adhered in sections.

Transforming the market

It is only recently that the technology has been available to allow sophisticated advertisements or branding to be printed directly to plywood. Using the Inca Columbia and Aquaseal liquid laminator, OMMprint have revolutionised the market for direct to rigid substrate printing.

Redcell have worked closely with OMM for many years, They have seized the opportunities provided by this technology to improve the brand awareness of their client Cala Homes around the sites they are currently developing.

Endless possibilities

“We now enable our clients to print almost any image, in any size, on to almost any substrate rigid or flexible”, claimed Howard Campion Marketing Director of OMM group.

“However at this early adopter stage it is only clients such as Jonathan Frewin from Redcell who have grasped the possibilities available to the building market, and have successfully proposed an execution to their client Cala Homes”

Before, During and After

The first Cala Homes site to benefit from this branding “makeover” was Warren Glade near Reading.

“The new branding for Warren Glade is fantastic” commented Jonathan Frewin MD of Red Cell Scotland. “The client was blown away by the branding, and it really does look the business.”
