Here are our preferred specifications for the files we print.
Contact us for any further advice or special requirements.
FILE FORMAT RECOMMENDATIONS
- The recommended file formats are Illustrator EPS for artwork and Adobe Photoshop EPS for pictures (min 300dpi at 25%). We accept pretty much any file format but some extra charge may occur if artworking is required in order to print. Please contact us before sending your artwork.
- Fonts should be outlined: we unfortunately don't hold a collection of all the fonts ever published.
- Reference any Pantone colours used when a perfect match is required.
- For large format (bigger than 1m or 40") the artwork should be supplied scaled down to 25%.
- Pictures resolution (including pictures embedded in the artwork) should be at a minimum of 300dpi at 25% of the size - lower resolution will result in lower quality output or pixelisation.
- Artwork should be supplied in CMYK. Pictures can be supplied in CMYK or RGB: we will convert them if and when required.
SUPPLYING THE FILE
Each artwork should be clearly labeled and supplied on CD/DVD-Rom or transferred via ftp (small artworks can be sent by email).
Remember to also include any file imported or linked into the artwork.
If possible, provide us with a hard copy colour proof or a soft copy pdf proof of your document.
We're happy to help and advise you, so don't hesitate to contact us if you need some clarification!
